What Makes Alma Unique?

Ride Quality: A Pure Feel

Careful control of tube profiles and materials, matched to Orbea's X-Fader technology helps absorb the trail chatter which adds to fatigue on long rides. Several aspects contribute to Alma’s pure feel.

X-Fader acts as a micro damper with the shaped seat tube engineered to absorb energy-sapping vibrations and impacts, so you can ride harder, faster, and farther. It’s not just about comfort—it’s about staying sharp and in control when it matters most.

The optimised rear triangle with flattened chainstays and seatstays increase vertical compliance while resisting lateral flex, improving power transmission, all made in Orbea’s Advanced Carbon. This new carbon construction reduces vibration and gives the best riding performance, not to mention keeping weight under control; a painted, size medium frame without hardware weighs 1.080 grams.

For increased grip and a smoother ride, Alma counts on a wider tyre clearance of up to 2.4". This not only provides larger air volume but also increased contact area.

Handling: Connected Hardtail Handling

Alma's no compromise geometry puts you in the position to connect with the trail. A perfect mix of nimble handling and capable descending with the added control of the 110mm fork.

With Orbea’s “No Compromise Geometry, ” riders can expect improved stability and control. A combination of the 67º headtube and a generous wheelbase plus the 75.5º downtube to enhance peddling dynamics, especially on steep climbs, result in an overall solid handling experience. Other notable geo points include a shorter seat tube exposing more seatpost, for better absorption and lower standover for more space to move the bike side-to-side when sprinting or cornering. All this is designed to work with a 110mm fork, the sweet spot of bump-absorption and low weight.

Integration: Packed with features that make riding simple

Alma lets riders focus on the trail while it handles the details; this bike is full of features that help rides flow.

The brand's new integrated carbon cockpit weighs 265 grams and provides more control and improved SIC integration for up to three cables. Available in 760 mm width, -17º stem angle, and 75 or 90 mm stem length, with Orbea's integrated computer mount.

The light and infinitely adjustable OC MP10 Dropper offers 100mm of travel, with full control over saddle height, not limited to only two positions. The clamp is compatible with all saddle rail systems. All of this and only 419g.

With Orbea's Squidlock remote, everything is just a thumb click away. The two levers control a dropper post and access three fork positions without removing the hand from the bars. Compact and reliable, Squidlock integrates with either Shimano or SRAM brake clamps and works with many suspension systems.

Other seamless features include Smart Clips, an innovative detail that makes it possible to fully insert a telescopic seatpost by allowing attachment of a bottle cage to the seat tube without metal frame inserts. They are removable and discreet when not in use. Alma also presents the new service window, a hatch on the downtube that gives easy access to the cables inside the frame, facilitating maintenance.
